This remix was used in Alexander Wang’s fall 2010 collection video featuring the lovely Abbey Lee Kershaw. I knew the song before I saw the video but didn’t really pay much attention to it, but after watching it in Wang’s clip, I couldn’t stop listening to it. It’s incredible. The XX one of my favorite bands, and I must say this remix comes close to being as good as the original in my opinion. Hi Tumblr world! I’m so sorry I’ve been so MIA recently. School has started up for me which means summer 2010 is finally over. That also means the work load has been stacking up on me and I literally have had a spare moment to breathe. I’m writing this post at midnight and afterwards I still need to write a paper and do some math homework. As intense as the work is, I love my new school. The people are great, my classes are fabulous, and the campus is gorgeous. Missing Los Angeles of course, but it’s really a nice change here. I can’t wait for Fall and then Winter! Seasons I’ve never truly experienced before. A whole fashion style I’ve never been able to experiment with before- yes I am excited to rock heel boots, scarves, leather gloves, and p-coats! Speaking of fashion, Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week has been in full throttle in New York City and sadly, since it fell right as school started up, I couldn’t make it this year. I’ve been looking at photos from the shows every moment I can and from what I can tell the upcoming season is going to be tre tre chic! Hope everyone is having a lovely September and keeping up with fashion week as best they can! Are any of you there/ did you go? I know I have some followers from New York. If so, let me know! I want all the details. I’d better go and start this paper before I fall asleep on my laptop writing this post. I’m so physically and mentally exhausted, ah.
